AIR LIQUIDE asked Use Design to conceive human/machine interfaces for several of their devices.

The cryogenic tunnel project had very specific requirements: users with no special training, device usage demanding to be as simple as possible, all this within the constraints of maximal security (handling of biohazardous gases).

Use Design chose to create a user-friendly, non-threatening interface by using clear colors, simple icons and a drawing as device representation, so that the essential information immediately catches the eye.

Furthermore we made an effort to design effort to create comprehensive icons contributing to user-friendliness and overall readability of the interface.
